The Guide

Non Skiing Activities in the Three Valleys

The three valleys isn’t all about what you get up to on the piste!  There’s plenty on offer for those who enjoy keeping their feet away from slippery planks of wood, or who just need a break after a few days’ sliding!

Not just skiing

The family-run equestrian centre offers horse riding at all levels, from 15 minute introductions through longer rides for experienced riders.  Perfect for kids of all ages, a while spent winding through winter wonderlands will not be quickly forgotten!

Mountain air and stunning views

For those who feel a little skied out, or for those lacking the confidence to get stuck into the pistes, consider a walkers pass for the day!  You’ll be given access to the large network of gondolas to whisk you up to the top of the mountain, where you can enjoy the views and delights offered up by the mountain-top restaurants – all for a price much lower than the standard ski pass!

Memories to last a lifetime

The new Aquamotion centre in Courchevel comes packed with out-there gadgets and activities, bound to stick in the memory.  While the generous spa and pool packages may suffice for many (flumes included!), those up for something a little more stimulating may well find it amongst the flying simulators, indoor climbing walls or surfing machines.  With healthy options offered by the on-site restaurant, there’s definitely enough here to occupy you on a white-out day.
